Strategy Overview
Simipour's good offensive stats and movepool make it a decent Pokemon in PU. Its nice Speed allows it to outspeed a lot of Pokemon in the PU metagame, and its awesome coverage, coupled with the ability to go mixed thanks to its unique moves, such as Low Kick and Knock Off, make it one of the most fearsome wallbreakers and a difficult Pokemon to switch into for balanced teams. Simipour is a decent Choice Scarf user, and it is the only Water-type in PU to have access to Nasty Plot, making it a decent user of the move. However, Simipour's pitiful bulk makes switching it in pretty difficult, and its susceptibility to any kind of residual damage makes it very prone to priority moves. Furthermore, Simipour's Speed, while not bad by any means, leaves it outsped by a lot of powerful threats, such as Zebstrika, Rapidash, Raichu, and Jumpluff, if it isn't using a Choice Scarf, making it overall less effective than it could be.
