Strategy Overview
Froslass makes for a great dedicated lead because of its high Speed stat and access to the coveted Spikes. On top of that, its support movepool can enable it to cripple the opposing team with status moves like Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave, shut down opposing leads with Taunt and Icy Wind, or even take down a Pokemon with Destiny Bond. Even though Froslass is a strong lead option, it is quite linear in what it can do because of its terrible bulk and defensive typing, which make it quite difficult to hit the field in the middle of a game. Teams that can shrug off Froslass's status spam with reliable entry hazard control and cleric support often result in Froslass accomplishing nothing, essentially forcing the user to play a 5v6 game.
