Galvantula

Due to its great Speed, good offensive typing and coverage, and ability to threaten common entry hazard removers like Charizard and Eldegoss, Galvantula is an effective Sticky Web setter. Its access to Volt Switch in combination with these traits also makes it a decent pivot. However, Galvantula's meager Special Attack hinders its overall damage output. Opting for Life Orb does make up for this, particularly if Galvantula runs Thunder, but doing so means forgoing Heavy-Duty Boots and limiting its staying power. Galvantula also faces competition from other Sticky Web setters in Ribombee and Vikavolt. The former is better against Pokemon like Whimsicott due to its higher Speed, while the latter is much stronger, has Levitate and better bulk, and possesses similar coverage.
