Noivern is heavily outclassed both offensively and defensively by fellow Dragon-types like Latios and Archaludon, which can put far more pressure on opposing teams. However, Noivern comes packing with a useful Flying typing and, more importantly, a crucial Speed tier, outspeeding targets like Iron Valiant, which Latios cannot, along with being one of the only answers to entry hazards Dragon teams have.
