Omastar

Despite the many Water-types in the tier, Omastar finds its place thanks to its access to Shell Smash, its impressive Special Attack, and an offensive movepool that gives it all it needs to function as a terrifying sweeper. However, while Omastar hits significantly harder, it faces competition from Cloyster, which boasts a better Speed tier. Moreover, Omastar's pitiful Special Defense and Speed leave it very reliant on its Focus Sash to set up safely. Even after a boost, it fails to outspeed common Choice Scarf users that litter the tier, such as Darmanitan, Hydreigon, and Mienshao, although Weak Armor can rectify that if Omastar is setting up on physical attacks.
