Mr Mime

Mr. Mime stands out as both an excellent Choice Scarf revenge killer and a strong wallbreaker with Nasty Plot or Choice Specs, allowing it to perform multiple different roles for teams. Its unique STAB combination backed up by Focus Blast gives Mr. Mime perfect neutral coverage, which makes it fairly threatening coupled with its solid Special Attack. Mr. Mime also has access to a number of different utility moves, being the best user of Healing Wish, the best stallbreaker in the tier with Nasty Plot, and a solid lure for defensive Pokemon with Trick. Additionally, its dual STAB makes Mr. Mime perfect for checking Combusken and Monferno, and Soundproof allows it to counter Chatot, three very common threats. However, Mr. Mime's awful physical bulk leaves it easy to revenge kill and prone to being Pursuit trapped, and its Speed tier, while being solid, is still not high enough to outspeed strong attackers such as Dodrio. Additionally, Mr. Mime has a few common checks, including Metang and Mawile, that hinder its effectiveness.
