Butterfree

Butterfree is a sweeper that can be very effective late-game with Tinted Lens, which can allow it to break past Pokemon that resist its attacks. It lacks a solid Flying-type move, meaning it has to use moves such as Energy Ball and Psychic, which don't gain STAB. Butterfree cannot switch into many Pokemon due to its terrible defensive typing, mediocre defensive stats, and weakness to Stealth Rock. There are also some Pokemon that can take on its attacks well even with a few boosts and Tinted Lens, such as Probopass and Bouffalant. Butterfree receives competition as a setup sweeper that utilizes Sleep Powder from Jumpluff, but Tinted Lens allows Butterfree to take on Pokemon that usually would wall Jumpluff, such as Ninetales and Drifblim, while Quiver Dance allows it to boost its Speed. Butterfree is also very predictable, seeing as it can only run one viable set.
