Strategy Overview
Although Sawk sports better Attack and Speed than Passimian, its lack of U-turn leaves it unable to do much versus defensive Slowking, and its reliance on Close Combat for wallbreaking leaves it easily taken advantage of by Pokemon like Xatu, Comfey, and Rotom. Additionally, although Sturdy can be utilized to provide aid against revenge killers, Sawk's poor bulk compounded with a lacking defensive typing makes it difficult to get Sawk safely onto the field. Sawk is also extremely prediction-reliant, since its coverage moves often fail to threaten Pokemon they aren't super effective against.
