Strategy Overview
Subpar stats across the board leave Mightyena completely outclassed by Absol and Alolan Raticate, which sport far higher Attack stats and better Speed tiers. The aforementioned Pokemon also have access to Swords Dance and possess a more useful Dark-type STAB move in Knock Off. Mightyena's niche lies in attempting to revenge kill opposing Pokemon to get Attack boosts from Moxie, but it does not do its job properly because it ends up being too weak to defeat anything and it lacks the defenses to stay in for long periods of time.
