Strategy Overview

Meganium simply has no real use over other bulky Grass-types in the tier. Its abilities are useless, it has a mediocre movepool, it is very passive, and its bulk isn't even that impressive. Meganium does have some unique moves among its brethren like Dragon Tail and Aromatherapy, but otherwise you're simply better off using other defensive Grass-types such as Tangela, Roselia, and Ferroseed, which have better utility overall. As a cleric, Audino, Articuno, and even Granbull are better choices due to their superior bulk and movepools.
