Dedenne

Dedenne's sparse movepool and poor stats bar Speed leave it totally outclassed by other Electric-types such as Alolan Raichu, Eelektross, and Rotom-F. To make matters worse, Dedenne must rely on the unremarkable combination of Petaya Berry + Recycle to accumulate Special Attack boosts, which is a tedious process made especially difficult to pull off in succession given Dedenne's terrible bulk and lack of payoff due to it still being weak even after boosts. Alolan Raichu is a far more consistent boosting sweeper thanks to its superior offensive stats alongside access to Nasty Plot and moves such as Focus Blast and STAB Psyshock, whereas other Electric-types such as Rotom-F and Eelektross also boast far better coverage options.
