Roselia

Roselia is the best Spiker in NU; it can fit on almost any archetype, checks threatening offensive Pokemon, including Wailord and Huntail, and is extremely versatile, being able to fit a wide variety of moves in its last moveslot to accommodate its team's needs. Roselia's access to utility in Synthesis and Stun Spore alongside its ability Natural Cure helps make it rather self-sufficient; while other defensive Pokemon may require team support to function at their peak, Roselia can keep itself healthy while preventing its checks from easily taking advantage of it on predicted uses of Spikes. Unfortunately, Roselia has a rather poor defensive typing that leaves it vulnerable to several common attackers, including Flareon, Chimecho, and Golbat. Roselia also struggles to keep Spikes up on its own, since Hitmonchan easily switches into it and threatens heavy damage.
