Strategy Overview
Snorlax can be considered one of the most predictable Pokemon in the metagame, with almost every set being a CurseLax variant. Even with this disadvantage, Snorlax can still be utilized as a fantastic wincon as well as a wallbreaker that always moves last. With both an amazing HP and Special Defense stat as well as its lone weakness to Fighting, Snorlax can set up Curses on a large portion of special and physical attackers. Its main setup move, Curse, helps it boost its lackluster Defense, making it almost unbreakable after only a couple uses. Its main ability is Poison Heal, giving Snorlax excellent passive recovery as well as boosting Facade to a 140-Base Power STAB move. Poison Heal also gives it the ability to become an excellent status absorber after Toxic Orb activates. Although this Pokemon can be walled by a lot of common walls like Doublade and Skarmory, it's certainly one that is hard to pass up.
