Lileep

Despite the nerf to sand teams, Lileep maintains its position as a solid wall. It has access to Stealth Rock, which is more important than ever with Sturdy + Berry Juice and Pokemon such as Fletchling, Larvesta, and Ponyta, turning some 2HKOs into OHKOs. Lileep can also wall special attackers that don't have a setup move, such as Abra, Chinchou, Staryu, and Gastly. The same goes for physical attackers that cannot set up and lack super effective moves against Lileep, such as Carvanha, Ponyta, and Bunnelby. One of Lileep's biggest problems is its weakness to Fighting- and Steel-types, both very common in Little Cup. It is also setup bait for certain sweepers. The loss of permanent sand also hurts its ability to rack up passive damage and limits the duration of its 1.5x Special Defense boost while walling.
