Strategy Overview
Leafeon is the strongest physical Grass-type attacker in PU, and it is fairly hard to switch into with hard-hitting sets such as Swords Dance and Choice Band as well as good coverage in Knock Off. It also has decent defenses to check a number of weaker threats in the tier and set up Swords Dance fairly reliably. However, Leafeon is held back by its mediocre Speed and poor defensive typing, making it fairly easy to revenge kill, and it faces competition from the large number of viable Grass-types, most notably Jumpluff, which sports far better Speed and a fantastic support movepool.
