Camerupt

On paper, Mega Camerupt has many of the tools requred to be an offensive or defensive staple in Underused. In practice however, Mega Camerupt is quite subpar: it either trades the ability to hit like a truck for its defensive prowess or vice-versa, and its paltry Speed stat guarantees opposing Taunts or attacks will land before Mega Camerupt has an opporunity do anything. A lack of reliable recovery and poor defensive typing also puts Mega Camerupt on a timer: without Wish support, Mega Camerupt will be worn down quickly. If anything, access to Stealth Rock gives it a tiny niche on bulkier teams in terms of role compression. However it comes at the cost of consuming a team's Mega slot; Mega Swampert, Mega Aerodactyl, and the other Mega Evolutions accessible to Underused are much better options and provide more utility for their team. Because of how little Mega Camerupt actually offers a team, it is recommened that other Mega Evolutions be considered over Mega Camerupt.
