Strategy Overview
Vespiquen's bulk, ability, and access to reliable recovery are completely mitigated by its mediocre typing, which leaves it incredibly weak to Stealth Rock, and its shallow movepool. It also has no offensive presence, which, combined with its typing and movepool, makes it a bad Fighting- and Grass-type check and leaves it walled by Steel-types like Alolan Sandslash. As a check to these types, Oricorio-E does the job better due to its better typing giving it more defensive utility, larger movepool, and higher offensive presence while still having access to reliable recovery.
