Magneton

Because of its good offensive typing, high Special Attack, and strong STAB options, Magneton can serve as a threatening wallbreaker that pressures defensive staples like Eldegoss and Gigalith. Analytic compensates for Magneton's middling Speed tier while also making it more difficult to switch into. Magneton can effectively take advantage of this thanks to its access to Volt Switch, putting opponents on the back foot while also generating momentum for its teammates. However, Pokemon such as Lanturn, Lightning Rod Togedemaru, and Galarian Stunfisk makes walling Magneton easier for a lot of teams. Magneton's average Speed also leaves it outsped by common offensive threats like Gallade and Charizard. Finally, due to its poor bulk, Magneton often struggles to safely switch in even on resisted hits and can't make full use of the defensive benefits that come with its Steel typing.
