Strategy Overview
Drapion's main advantage is its excellent typing, letting it set up Swords Dance on common Pokemon like Sylveon and Vileplume while also being able to check wallbreakers like Decidueye. With its typing and coverage, it's also able to threaten out other popular Pokemon like Rotom-C, Alolan Exeggutor, and Galarian Articuno. Despite being able to boost its Attack, though, it often falls short of OHKOing bulkier targets like Vaporeon, Talonflame, and Mudsdale. Faster offensive Pokemon like Starmie, Heliolisk, and Tauros also threaten it out with their powerful attacks.
