Normal

Blissey's amazing bulk, role of status absorber thanks to Natural Cure, and utility moves such as Stealth Rock and Soft-Boiled in conjunction with Heavy-Duty Boots all make it one of Monotype's best walls. Teleport makes Blissey one of the best defensive pivots in the metagame and synergizes well with strong wallbreakers like Diggersby. Blissey forms one of the most potent defensive cores in Monotype with Braviary and Porygon2. However, due to Blissey's near nonexistent offensive presence, it is extremely susceptible to offensive setup users like Dragapult and Bisharp. Stallbreakers also easily take advantage of it and Knock Off users like Mew severely threaten it. Blissey also fails to successfully hold its own against other defensive Pokemon like Slowbro and Toxapex.
