Araquanid

Araquanid's natural Special Defense and typing allow it to set up on many passive Pokemon, namely Vaporeon, and it can also take on many attackers such as Inteleon and Salazzle. It also manages to maintain an offensive presence with Water Bubble-boosted Liquidation. However, its low base Attack and Speed leave it outmatched by opposing wallbreakers like Golurk and Toxicroak, and it struggles if the opposition lacks Pokemon for it to use Substitute on. Its subpar physical bulk also leaves it struggling to capitalize on many of its resistances, so it can take heavy damage trying to switch into the likes of Copperajah and Passimian.
