Tangela

Tangela's solid bulk, further bolstered by Eviolite, in combination with its great ability in Regenerator makes it a great switch-in to top physical threats like Archeops, Silvally-Fairy, and Trevenant. Tangela also has great supportive options such as Knock Off, Leech Seed, Toxic, and Sleep Powder, which makes up for its mediocre damage output. However, Tangela is held back by its poor special bulk and bad typing, as being pure Grass leaves it vulnerable to a plethora of top Pokemon like Ribombee, Vikavolt, and Charizard. Additionally, Tangela is very reliant on its item Eviolite, and a lot of Pokemon that it checks carry Knock Off, making Tangela less reliable of an answer to them. Furthermore, it dislikes getting poisoned by Toxic, making it less effective as a pivot.
