Strategy Overview
Almost everything Fomantis can do, Snivy can do better. The two Pokemon both have similar movepools and abilities, but Fomantis has much worse stats than Snivy and lacks access to certain useful moves like Glare and Knock Off. Even if Snivy weren't useful, however, Fomantis would still be hindered by its awful typing and stats, which prevent it from ever being viable. While it can run a full physical set, which gives it a tiny bit of a niche over Snivy, its lack of power makes such a set not worth using.
