Strategy Overview

With its two 4x resistances to Grass and Fighting, an immunity to Toxic, and access to both Quiver Dance and Iron Defense, Dustox can slowly turn into a setup sweeper. However, its typing brings forth several notable weaknesses, most notably to Fire, Flying, and Rock, that allow Dustox to be overcome by threats such as Simisear, Dodrio, and Aggron. Dustox also faces fierce competition from Bellossom as a bulky Quiver Dance sweeper, as Bellossom has better offensive stats as well as Strength Sap to restore its health while lowering the target's Attack.
