Strategy Overview

With its incredible physical bulk, great typing, and ability, Weezing serves as an excellent physical wall. Its Poison typing gives it a resistance to Fighting-type attacks, making it an incredible check to Fighting-types, such as Virizion and Passimian. Its bulk allows it to easily spread status through Will-O-Wisp and Sludge Bomb, making Weezing incredibly irritating to switch into. However, Weezing lacks any reliable recovery, making it easy to wear down over the course of a game. Its mediocre special bulk means it folds to any strong special attack.
