Koraidon can overcome its defensive checks thanks to its expansive movepool, which gives it the option to run Swords Dance + Scale Shot. However, Koraidon's ability to switch in repeatedly is significantly hindered by Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Additionally, Koraidon's reliance on Flare Blitz diminishes its longevity. Nevertheless, Koraidon's versatile movepool and Tera type options cement it as a staple on every offensive team.
