Dark

Bisharp's Steel typing makes it an inviting piece for Dark teams looking to ease the Fairy matchup, as Bisharp can take on powerful Fairy-types such as Flutter Mane and Hatterene. In addition, its Defiant deters Defog from the likes of Corviknight and Galarian Weezing. However, Bisharp's middling Speed tier and mediocre bulk make it unable to switch into Fairy-type threats such as Enamorus and Mimikyu, and it needs a Swords Dance boost to reliably OHKO them. It is also helpless against Iron Valiant and other fast Fighting-types. The Defog users that Bisharp wishes to check like the aforementioned Corviknight and Galarian Weezing can similarly threaten Bisharp on a predicted switch with Body Press and Will-O-Wisp, respectively.
