Strategy Overview
Toxicroak's bulk is not particularly good, and it lacks the raw power to be a threat without setting up; however, it is an important Pokemon in the UnderUsed tier thanks to the combination of its unique typing, Dry Skin, and its ability to threaten common defensive cores. Toxicroak's resistance to common attacking types such as Dark, Fighting, and Rock and its immunity to Water-type moves improve its ability to switch in and set up massively. Additionally, Toxicroak's movepool allows it to work as either a physical or a special sweeper, which makes it fairly versatile and unpredictable.
