Mienshao

No other Fighting-type in UU can boast the combination of Speed and power that Mienshao possesses. Its good base 105 Speed lets it outrun notable threats like Hydreigon and Celebi, while its excellent base 125 Attack lets it hit extremely hard. Its movepool is good too, with its STAB High Jump Kick backed up by good coverage options in Knock Off, U-turn, Poison Jab and Stone Edge. It also has access to two excellent abilities in Regenerator and Reckless. Regenerator lets it fire off powerful attacks throughout the match, while Reckless gives its STAB High Jump Kick incredible power.

However, while Mienshao can dish out the damage it certainly can't take it. Low 65/60/60 defenses mean that just about any reasonably strong neutral move will 2HKO, which in turn makes it difficult to get Mienshao in safely. High Jump Kick may well be very powerful, but an untimely miss could mean a premature end to Mienshao. It also faces stiff competition from other Fighting-types like Lucario, Toxicroak, Cobalion and Conkeldurr, who can offer secondary STABs, higher speed or better bulk.
