Illumise

Illumise has access to Tinted Lens, which helps it wallbreak without the need for prediction that other Choice item users have. However, that is the only upside to Illumise, as it is weak, frail, and not especially fast. On the support side, it is entirely outclassed by Volbeat, which has the same stats but stronger U-turns. Offensively, wallbreakers like Stoutland and Mawile have far too many advantages over Illumise regardless of the lack of prediction required. Illumise is affected by all entry hazards and cannot function throughout the match if they're up. It has a hard time against offensive teams, as it is easily KOed and its wallbreaking isn't as valuable. Illumise is simply woefully outclassed in a support role, and its offensive stats just don't cut it.
