Dedenne

Dedenne is a poor Pokemon in the PU metagame and is not worth using over other Electric-types such as Raichu and Zebstrika, which have better Speed, more power, and better coverage. Although Dedenne has Fairy as its secondary typing, it lacks a special Fairy-type STAB move and lacks the bulk to utilize any resistances it provides. Its coverage consists of an Electric-type STAB move, Grass Knot, and Hidden Power, which means it struggles to get past Pokemon that resist Electric such as Stunfisk and Roselia. The only niche Dedenne has lies in its ability, Cheek Pouch; however, most Pokemon can OHKO or 2HKO it, meaning that the HP recovery is often useless.
