Chatot

Chatot is one of the best anti-offense Pokemon in the PU metagame due to its access to a 140-Base Power STAB move in Boomburst. With a Choice Scarf equipped, Chatot is capable of outspeeding and OHKOing many prominent offensive threats in the metagame, including Floatzel and Zebstrika, while possessing only a few checks on offense. It can also run a solid Choice Specs set, which can dismantle slower teams if given the right support. Furthermore, solid coverage options such as Heat Wave and Hidden Power Fighting allow it to take on Steel-types more easily, and it also has access to U-turn for momentum. However, Chatot is rather frail, and the Choice Specs set can struggle against offensive teams due to Chatot's low base Speed, while the Choice Scarf set is easily walled by Pokemon such as Audino. In addition, Chatot's weakness to Stealth Rock can limit the number of times it can switch in.
