Arbok

Thanks to its nice typing, access to Coil, and array of strong attacks such as Gunk Shot and Earthquake, Arbok is a very potent threat in the PU metagame. Arbok also has access to priority in Sucker Punch, allowing it to pick off weakened foes and KO many faster Pokemon after a Coil boost. Furthermore, some good defensive capabilities in its access to Intimidate and its pure Poison typing allow Arbok to check Pokemon such as Roselia and absorb Toxic Spikes. However, without the help of Intimidate along with Coil, Arbok is fairly frail and susceptible to even neutral attacks such as Floatzel's Waterfall and Stoutland's Return. Arbok also requires a good amount of support to weaken checks such as Misdreavus.
