Plusle should never be considered over other Electric-types such as Eelektross, Alolan Raichu, and Rotom-F, as they are far more potent offensively, having better movepools and the latter two having secondary typings to boot. Plusle also lacks the defenses to safely set up, and even with decent Speed and a Nasty Plot boost, its offensive presence is very underwhelming.
