Strategy Overview
Barboach's access to Dragon Dance makes it seem appealing; however, its poor base stats give it a hard time setting up and dealing damage. It faces trouble dealing with common Grass- and bulky Fighting-types after burning a Supersonic Skystrike, as that is Barboach's only significant method of dealing damage to these Pokemon. As a setup sweeper, it is directly outclassed by Shellder and Corphish, as their better stats, damage output and movepool make them more ideal sweepers.
