Druddigon makes an effective pivot with its Dragon typing and ability in Rough Skin, which is used in conjunction with Rocky Helmet to punish U-turn and Flip Turn users like Togedemaru and Basculin. Heavy Defense investment lets it switch into notable Pokemon such as Centiskorch and Togedemaru. Druddigon also has a great supportive movepool with access to Stealth Rock and Glare. However, Druddigon is weak to common Fairy- and Ice-type attacks from Pokemon like Ribombee and Froslass, as well as lacking any reliable recovery options.
