Doublade

Doublade's outstanding Eviolite-boosted physical bulk and great defensive typing let it check the many physical attackers in the PU tier, such as Gallade, Silvally-Fairy, and Cinccino. In a pinch, full-health Doublade can even handle strong Dark-types such as +2 Sneasel and Choice Band Absol, surviving Knock Off and hitting back hard with Close Combat, which outright OHKOs the latter. Doublade also possesses a solid Attack stat, which, in conjunction with Shadow Sneak, enables it to revenge kill weakened threats such as Galarian Articuno. Doublade's typing and priority Shadow Sneak also enable it to check Ribombee, a critical role that makes it a staple on offensive teams. Swords Dance allows Doublade to set up and sweep late-game provided its checks are weakened. However, Doublade's low Speed often forces it to take a hit before doing anything, and its poor special bulk can be taken advantage of by special attackers such as Charizard, especially if its Eviolite has been lost to Knock Off.
