Strategy Overview
Registeel is one of the best support Pokemon in the UU metagame. Besides setting up Stealth Rock, it is the quintessential defensive pivot that we see so much of in the current metagame. Offensive and defensive teams alike rely on it to check a whole host of threats—many super effective attacks will barely do over 70% to it. While Registeel does have quite a few Pokemon that can switch in and do serious damage to it, no Pokemon is without its faults, and overall Registeel is one of the most solid Pokemon in UU.
