Strategy Overview

At first glance, Seedot looks like a poor choice as a Pokemon. It has mediocre stats across the board, with its highest being a Defense stat of 50, something that it can't even effectively utilize. However, with Sunny Day up, Seedot's Speed doubles to an impressive 26. It also has access to Solar Beam and Explosion, two very powerful moves. Unfortunately, the rest of Seedot's movepool is very shallow, but it is still just enough for Seedot to succeed. Even so, it is still slightly outclassed as a sweeper by Exeggcute. All in all, though Seedot isn't a very impressive Pokemon, it should be at least considered for a team slot on a dedicated Sunny Day team.
