Strategy Overview
With excellent Speed and Special Attack, decent special bulk, a fine movepool, and three immunities, Mismagius is one of the top-tier threats in UU. Both its offensive and defensive sets are some of the defining forces in the tier, and the metagame has been forced to adapt in order to deal with them. It is a tribute to Mismagius's influence that a benchmark for all special walls is how well they take Mismagius's Shadow Ball, and some innovations such as specially defensive Arcanine rose to prominence in part because they can take on Mismagius and live to tell the tale.
