Huntail is an unfortunate Pokemon. It's stuck in a sea of Water-types that share its ability, Swift Swim, and has no shining stat or quirk to separate it from the pack. As a physical rain sweeper, Huntail is generally outclassed by the likes of Kabutops, Qwilfish, and Ludicolo; as a special rain sweeper, it's outclassed by Omastar and its pink counterpart, Gorebyss. Huntail, however, has one saving grace available to it: its ability to act as a mixed rain sweeper.
