Audino

Cleric support is often at the heart of defensive teams, and a good representative of this role is Audino. Not only can it cure status, but it also passes hefty Wishes and sponges damage thanks to Wish and Regenerator. This extensive recovery makes Audino a solid check to notable special threats like Charizard, Galarian Articuno, and Haunter. Audino has less luck versus setup special attackers like Ribombee and Meteor Beam Archeops, though, as it fails to deter their setup. Its passivity is even more notable versus physical sweepers and stallbreakers like Gallade and Centiskorch, since it lacks Defense investment.
